Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chipotle powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Put garlic that has been minced, chipotle powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Put the shrimp in the bowl and toss them around to cover them with the seasoning mix
For 15 minutes, let them sit
Set the chipotle lime sauce aside while you prepare the shrimp
Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, and lime zest together in a different bowl
Put away
Set the pan on medium-high heat
The shrimp should be pink and cooked all the way through after you add them
Cook for about two to three minutes on each side
You can heat the flour tortillas in a pan or the microwave for 20 seconds
To make the tacos, put some shredded lettuce on each tortilla and then add the cooked shrimp
Diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and cheddar cheese should be put on top
Add the toppings and then drizzle the chipotle lime sauce on top
