Chocolate Cake for Two

Indulge in a delightful chocolate cake for two thats perfect for a romantic dessert or a sweet treat for you and a friend. This recipe is quick and easy to make, and the result is a moist and decadent chocolate cake that will satisfy your cravings.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips

Instructions:

Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F

Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and cocoa powder in a mixing bowl

To the dry ingredients, add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract

Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated

Coat two 6-ounce ramekins or microwave-safe mugs with cooking spray or a small amount of oil

Between the two ramekins or mugs, divide the cake batter equally

Top every cake with a handful of chocolate chips

A toothpick inserted into the center of each ramekin or mug should come out clean after baking for 12 to 15 minutes

Before serving, take the cakes out of the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes

If preferred, top warm servings with powdered sugar or an ice cream scoop
