This almond milk smoothie you make yourself is a tasty and dairy-free way to start the day or a healthy snack. It has all the good things for you in fresh berries, a ripe banana, and homemade almond milk.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup homemade almond milk
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup fresh berries strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes optional
Instructions:
If you havent already, start by making your own almond milk
Cut the ripe banana into slices
Clean and cut up the fresh berries
Put the almond milk you made at home, banana slices, fresh berries, honey or maple syrup if you like, and vanilla extract in a blender
Put some ice cubes in the smoothie to make it even cooler
Using a blender, blend everything until its smooth and creamy
If you think it needs more sweetness, add more honey or maple syrup
Put the almond milk smoothie in a glass
